Junior Infants enjoyed a brilliant day out on their local field trip to Scragh Bog nature reserve and boardwalk. While walking around the 2.5km route they learned lots of interesting facts about the plants and animals that live in the bog. They also learned about some of the geography of the local area such as Lough Derravaragh, Lough Owel and Lough Ennell. From Scragh Bog they travelled to Belvedere to explore the gardens and park. They finished off the day with some time to play in the fairy garden and the playground. Well done Junior Infants.
